Party Foul!

Co-opetition in the High Tech Industry has in all probability existed since before said medium was even referred to as an ‘industry.’ Nevertheless, an ex-Microsoft employee’s activities are being classified as ‘stealing trade secrets’ (whereas they obviously went too far). In an era where the proliferation of Social Media makes said offenses sometimes even easier to track, etc. it’s still (almost) surreal that an individual working within the ‘industry’ would not know better (let alone commit such acts to begin with).

WeClosed.

Just when some casual observers might have thought that China was relaxing their state-controlled restrictions on freedom-of-expression… think again as it seems that the exact opposite might be more of the trend / reality (in light of  this week’s WeChat crackdown).

Forever Uncool.

Bad news for Redmond: As Microsoft continues to delay / struggle with attempting to cram the desktop on mobile devices / tablets, etc. end-users are increasingly turning away from their Office-suite and finding alternatives for / to review documents. Aside from not boding well with their bottom-line this also equates to decreasing numbers of consumer being associated (arguably, indoctrinated) with their products! Your move Windows.
