Estimated to be a $167 billion dollar market, even the (US) Supreme Court’s ruling over the upstart Aereo, streaming television services (as an alternative to being tethered to the ever-dwindling and draconian Cable / Satellite TV offerings in America) show no signs of abating (which in theory should bode well for American consumers*). Note: Asterisk see footnote as this pitch has gone on for a long-time now and has essentially never become a reality.
