In perhaps a surreal homage to Apple’s now infamous 1984 ad, one can’t help but wonder if the unwashed masses (e.g., consumers) have now become what the company railed against back-in-the-day? If the roughly 300 million global visitors to Apple stores within the last 10 months – alone – are any indication a very good case could be made that this is what’s happened (aside from the obvious point that the company does make excellent products).
