The days of Skype being ad-free are drawing to a close. Towards that end, it’ll be interesting to see the impact that this will have on countless users who have grown accustomed to making ‘net-based calls without advertising therein (Skype users who have paid for credit will be exempt) and just how intrusive, pervasive and annoying this is becoming on such mediums as YouTube (and, now, obviously Skype).
